Ownership and disclosure
TopFive is owned and operated by Magai, LLC (“Magai”), the company behind Magai, an AI workspace that gives people access to models from several AI companies in one place.
Why Magai runs TopFive
Magai's customers need to keep up with AI, and so does everyone else. TopFive is how Magai helps with that in public. It also introduces readers to Magai, which is how TopFive pays for itself instead of selling advertising.
Where Magai appears
- Prompt of the day. Each edition ends with a prompt you can use in any AI chat, with an “Open in Magai” button beside a copy button.
- “Try it in Magai”. When a story is about a model or capability available in Magai, it may carry one clearly labeled line saying so.
- House slots. The newsletter and some pages carry a small, labeled mention of Magai.
- The footer of every page says who owns the site.
Links to Magai carry tracking parameters (such as utm_source=topfive) so Magai can tell that a visit came from TopFive. They do not identify you.
What Magai does not do
- Magai does not pay for, choose or rank individual stories. The rank follows our editorial policy.
- We do not cover Magai's own announcements as news in the five.
- We carry no other advertising and no sponsored content.
Affiliations
Magai offers models from companies we write about, including OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. Those companies do not pay TopFive and have no say in our coverage.
