Amazon lets some US shoppers text Alexa for Shopping to search, build carts and buy

Amazon says texting Alexa for Shopping started rolling out to a small group of US customers by invitation, with millions more to follow in the coming weeks. The agent can search, build a cart, complete purchases and send delivery updates. Reorders need the customer's approval. Others can join a waitlist at amazon.com/text-alexa-shopping.
