Amazon to invest more than €16B in Germany in 2027, including €4.8B for AWS Frankfurt

Amazon says it will invest more than €16 billion (about $18 billion) in Germany in 2027, announced Oct. 20 at the Invest in Germany Summit in Berlin. That includes €4.8 billion to expand the AWS Europe (Frankfurt) Region, plus Amazon Leo satellite internet, fulfillment center upgrades and more than 15 Prime Video productions.
