Amazon's Jassy: outside shopping agents 'still not great', few customers use them

On Amazon's Oct. 29 earnings call, CEO Andy Jassy said few customers buy through outside shopping agents and that the experience is "still not great, nor more convenient than coming to a retailer directly," per Fortune. He said outside agents did not cause the weaker ad performance in Q3. Amazon says over 400M customers used its Alexa for shopping tool in the past year.
