Anthropic builds a "presidential engagement" team to work with 2028 candidates on AI

Fortune reports Anthropic is setting up an in-house program to work with presidential candidates from both parties on AI, help set political strategy and run its political funding. It is hiring a Political Programs lead at $295,000 to $345,000; no one is named yet. AnthroPAC, its employee PAC, was set up in April.
