Anthropic donates the Agent Skills standard to the Agentic AI Foundation
Anthropic said Oct. 22 it is donating Agent Skills, the open standard for giving agents specialized knowledge, to the Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation, with the name, logo, GitHub org and domain. Anthropic says 70+ platforms have integrated it, with 1 million skills published and nearly 280 million installs. Maintainers include engineers from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI.
