Anthropic plans to sell up to $3.5B of IPO shares to Japanese investors
Political.org reports a regulatory filing shows Anthropic plans to sell up to 552.9 billion yen, about $3.5 billion, of shares to investors in Japan as part of its US listing. Proceeds would go to working capital, operating expenses and capital expenditures. The US S-1 filed Oct. 26 leaves price and share count blank. TopFive did not open the filing; Bloomberg and Reuters carry the same report.
