Anthropic says Claude designed quantum circuits that beat published algorithms on eight tasks
Anthropic says Claude, run in an automated loop, found circuits using fewer qubits and gates than the best published designs for eight primitives. One elliptic-curve addition design uses 12% more qubits but 17x fewer gates. A DQI decoder cut gate count about 12x versus Google's construction. These are circuit-level results with no hardware demonstration, per Anthropic.
