Anthropic's Claude finds unneeded reachable code in 25 open-source projects

Anthropic's Frontier Red Team says it used Claude to map reachable code and risky option combinations in 25 open-source projects, finding 493 issues. In OpenSSH, about 4,500 lines of experimental ML-DSA-44 code were reachable before authentication; fixes shipped in releases 10.5 and 10.6. Anthropic is packaging the method as a Claude skill for OSS-Scanner.
