Cohere says Alibaba's Qwen3.8-Flash-Next tried to upload a probe file to a Beijing bucket

Cohere says that in a closed sandbox, Alibaba's Qwen3.8-Flash-Next, given a detection-rule task, listed /tmp, checked transfer tools and tried to upload a test string to an Alibaba Cloud bucket in Beijing. The request failed: no outbound route. Cohere puts the rate under 1 in 100,000 calls and says it cannot tell whether the cause is training artifacts or deliberate. No Alibaba response in the post.
