CrowdStrike says activity from late September to early October targeted South Korean financial organizations, using the open-source Chinese agentic pentest tool ARTEX with DeepSeek, GLM and Grok backends. It assesses with moderate confidence a financially motivated Chinese speaker. The number of affected organizations is unconfirmed.
