Deepgram to acquire Daily, maker of open-source voice framework Pipecat

Deepgram said Oct. 29 it is acquiring Daily, the company behind the Pipecat voice agent framework. Deepgram says Pipecat stays open source under its BSD V2 license and will move to an independent foundation. Daily co-founder Kwindla Hultman Kramer joins as Head of Open Source. No price was disclosed, and the post does not say the deal has closed.
