DeepSeek upgrades V4.1 Flash to a Oct. 17 build it says finishes tasks faster

DeepSeek's API release notes list DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017, dated Oct. 17. The company says it cut task runtime and output length. Pricing and the calling method are unchanged, and the model is reached as deepseek-flash. DeepSeek cites Terminal-Bench 4.0 at 42.3 and DeepSWE v1.1 at 77.0; those are its own figures. It also opened its search engine through the API.
