Figma launches Specs in open beta, a shared canvas where agents read and reply to comments

Figma released Specs on Oct. 15, an open beta for paid plans on web, desktop and mobile. Specs hold written context on the canvas, import Markdown files, and let Figma's agent read and reply to comments. Figma's MCP server can hand a spec's link to a coding agent. The post also announces MCP updates with 20 new integrations and code layers in open beta.
