GitHub Copilot Fusion, which routes tasks across models, is generally available

GitHub made Copilot Fusion generally available on Oct. 28. It picks models and a workflow (single, cascade or critique) for each prompt, at three effort levels. It is on all Copilot plans in VS Code, the Copilot app, the CLI and JetBrains. Paid plans get 30% off model costs for a limited time. GitHub says Fusion Max scored 60 on the Artificial Analysis Coding Agent Index.
