Google Cloud adds OpenAI's GPT-6 models to its model garden in private preview
Google Cloud says GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Luna are in private preview for select enterprise customers in its model garden, billed on one Google Cloud invoice through Marketplace. Codex CLI and Desktop can connect to the Gemini platform for inference from Oct. 21. Google says prompts and outputs stay in the customer's data perimeter and are not used for training. Zero Data Retention and Confidential Compute are "coming soon." No prices or GA date. OpenAI posted its own announcement; outlets now include Reuters, CNBC and WSJ.
