Google open-sources TorchTPU to run native PyTorch on TPUs

Google announced TorchTPU on Oct. 20 at PyTorch Conference, a native PyTorch stack for its TPUs built with Meta's PyTorch team. Existing PyTorch code runs with minimal changes. Google reports up to 52% MFU on Qwen 3 8B across up to 8,192 Ironwood TPUs. A day earlier Amazon opened TorchNeuron for Trainium. Google's blog states no license.
