Google previews Connected Apps Platform for building apps inside Search and Gemini
Google opened a preview of its Connected Apps Platform on Oct. 28. Developers integrate through a cloud MCP server or Android MCP with AppFunctions, then register and test in the Google Connected Console. Google says more than 50 Connected Apps have launched across Search and Gemini. Access is phased, with more developers and markets over the coming months.
