Healthleap raises $38M for AI that screens hospital patients for missed illness
TechCrunch reports Healthleap raised $38M in seed and Series A funding: an $8M seed co-led by Sequoia and First Round, and a $30M Series A led by Hummingbird Ventures. Its software reads clinical notes and structured data to flag patients at risk of conditions such as malnutrition and delirium for review, and TechCrunch says it is deployed in more than 50 hospitals.
