Meta pauses commercial terms update that let it use business websites for generative AI

Per 404 Media, Meta said its updated commercial terms are paused and will not take effect Nov. 20, after objections. The terms would have let Meta use content from business accounts' websites for products including generative AI. A Norwegian court had issued a temporary injunction, and the UK CMA said it would investigate. Meta says existing terms stay in effect.
