Meta quietly launches Waddle World, an AI virtual pet and journal app, in the Philippines

Per TechCrunch, Meta has released Waddle World on iOS and Android, so far in the Philippines. Users raise a virtual pet that writes journal entries in its own voice from what they say about their day, with mini-games and a weekly email. Meta has not commented on wider availability or announced the app itself. TechCrunch says it may be a test or a precursor to a Muse-powered pet gadget.
