Meta's new commercial terms let it crawl sites tied to business accounts from Oct. 30
Meta's preview commercial terms, effective Oct. 30, let it use crawlers and scrapers on domains and pages tied to a business account. TechCrunch, citing The Verge, reports the clause allowing use of that content to "train" Meta products has been removed. Meta says the crawling terms "only applied to our ads and business products" and do not change how it uses web crawlers.
