Microsoft's Nadella calls for an AI "emergency brake" and says to assume models are compromised

In a Saturday post on X, as reported by TechCrunch, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella urged reassessing AI's "trust architecture." He proposed keeping controls outside the model, tamper-proof logs of every meaningful action, and a human kill switch, writing "We must assume a model is compromised and contain it from the start." The post itself was not opened for this entry.
