Mistral previews Large 4, a 1T-parameter model, and teams with Nvidia on engineering AI
Mistral says Large 4 is in public preview: about 1 trillion total parameters, 49 billion active, multimodal, trained on 3,800 Nvidia Grace Blackwell GPUs in Europe. Weights are planned for the end of October. Mistral and Nvidia also plan public benchmarks for agentic CAE and EDA work. No dates for those.
