NVIDIA contributes Vera Rubin rack designs to the Open Compute Project

At the OCP Global Summit in San Jose, NVIDIA says it contributed Vera Rubin rack and compute tray designs through its open MGX architecture, with MGX 1.2 supporting racks up to 250kW. It also published open-source AI-factory software and co-published data center specs with AMD, Google, Meta and Microsoft. Meta is adopting Spectrum-6 Ethernet switches.
