Nvidia says open Nemotron 3 Ultra reached IMO gold level and beat top human IOI score

Nvidia says a system built on Nemotron 3 Ultra scored 30/42 on IMO 2026, above the 29-point gold threshold, with proofs graded by official IMO graders. A fine-tuned version scored 535.4/600 on IOI 2026 in an unofficial, unsupervised run, outside the official ranking. Nvidia published the checkpoints, training data and a 200-problem benchmark on Hugging Face.
