OpenAI acquires Orchestra Bio to build AI agents for drug development

OpenAI announced Oct. 20 that it acquired Orchestra Bio, a four-year-old startup whose AI agents handle drug discovery operations such as finances and clinical trial scheduling, per TechCrunch. The team will work on Rosalind, OpenAI's life sciences model, and Rosalind Workbench. Terms were not disclosed.
