Reuters, citing six people familiar, reports the Fed, OCC and FDIC are asking banks about Chinese-developed AI, AI agents in cyber defense, audit trails, human oversight and how to shut agents down. Regulators are still gathering information, not prescribing action. The OCC, Fed and FDIC declined to comment.
