Salesforce to acquire Braze for about $5.66B in cash, citing agentic marketing

Salesforce announced Oct. 20 a definitive agreement to buy Braze for $47.50 per Class A share in cash, about $5.66 billion in enterprise value. Salesforce says Braze's real-time engagement and AI decisioning complement Agentforce and its data layers. Close is expected in Salesforce's fiscal 2028, pending Braze shareholder and regulatory approval.
