Anthropic gives governments 40% off Claude under expanded GSA deal

Anthropic said Oct. 27 that a new GSA agreement gives government partners 40% off Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government and the API, with no minimum spend. It extends to state, local, tribal and territorial governments, and to cloud-provider purchases in the coming months. Anthropic estimates $1B in savings and says about 500 government organizations use Claude.
